その結果、ソフトシュリンクレザーを36色、ヘビ革40色の常時在庫を実現し、取引先の幅広いニーズに対応しています。

Established in 1960, Sakata has focused on establishing and sustaining partnerships with local leather tanneries in Japan in order to steadily procure materials for small lot production of many products.
In addition to the domestic market, we also have international partners in Italy, Malaysia and Bangladesh to maintain stock of materials.

? As a result, we keep in stock 36 different colors of soft shrink leather and 40 different colors of snake leather to meet the wide-ranging needs of our clients.

サカタの製品のユーザーのほとんどが女性です。 女性ならではのニーズにお応えするには、色や形、サイズ感はもちろん、使用するシーンまで想定したデザインが求められます。

そのような高いご要望にお応えするため、当社では製品デザイナー、グラフィックデザイナー、バッグ職人、CAD / CAM , UVプリンター等のオペレーターに女性スタッフを登用し、女子力を活かした企画・デザインに力を入れています。

平成24年に香港で開催されたAPLF展示会では、当社のデザインが評価され「BEST OF AWARD」にノミネートされました。

Most of the users of SAKATA’s leather products are women. The design of products should respond to their diverse needs in terms of colors, shapes, sizes, and even user occasions.

In response to such high needs, we encourage our female employees to take the initiative in planning and designing as product designers, graphic designers, craftswomen, and operators of CAD/CAM and UV printer.

SAKATA has continued making the highly selective, sometimes very challenging, design of leather items for over 40 years since its establishment.
We produce high-quality bags and other products (such as wallets), making the most of the remarkable sawing skills of our artisans who know the characteristics of different materials, as well as of a wide variety of patterns based on our long experience.

In addition, we believe that we are responsible as a leading leather goods manufacturer for encouraging the younger generation to inherit methods and techniques from the skilled artisans.
For those production process which still need to be done by hand due to the difficulty of mechanization, we provide technical assistance not only to our staff but to the outsourcing partners, so that we can establish systems to provide high value-added products.
